KC Studio is a nonprofit arts journal with a mission to build audiences and increase participation in the arts through education and promotion of the performing, visual, cinematic and literary arts disciplines in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, our community receives protection, care and support from thousands of loyal men and women. Answering the Call is a not-for-profit organization that supports Fire, Police and EMS personnel in their time of need. IBD Promotions supports Answering the Call at the Oktoberfest Art & Craft Show by collecting donations. For over 20 years, One Good Meal has been delivering meals to Lee’s Summit shut-ins, handicapped and the elderly, every day Monday through Friday. Volunteers at One Good Meal, bake and deliver almost 150 meals a day to those in need. Support and thank them for their dedication by visiting them at the Raspberry Spring Expo. The purpose of the Hope House is to break the cycle of domestic violence for families in the Kansas City area. Hope House provides shelter, legal assistance and therapy to assist with the healing process and help those suffering, to begin a life free from abuse. During the holidays, with the help of the community, Hope House creates a Holiday Store for the victims who live there. This is a place where the adults and children can shop and wrap presents for each other, free of charge. All the gifts in the Holiday Store are donated by companies and individuals like the artists and crafters at the Fall Harvest Holiday Art & Craft Show.
